What a way to celebrate my birthday but to hang out at the beach. We had warm weather for swimming and relaxing at the beach. This is the first time I have been to the North Shore where the waves were pretty mild and there was not too many surfers out. We stayed at the Marriott Waikiki Beach which was twin tower hotel located across from the beach near the Honolulu Zoo and Diamond Head.

We were lucky to find our blue lynx ragdoll in April 2009 from Vancouver and bring her
home. She has gorgious ice blue eyes with long white fur
with very distinct brown/grey markings. Our little diva loves to strut her stuff and fetch her mouse.

Got to visit Los Angeles to escape the winter here. Definately sunny there but it gets cool when the sun goes down. Visited LA Arboretum and Huntington Gardens to see the aloes in bloom. Took a drive to Hollywood and Beverly Hills to see the sites. Beverly Hills has large roads with gorgeous palms lining the street and the famous Rodeo Drive. The last day we went to The Getty Center which sits atop of the Santa Monica Mountains and overlooks the whole city.

Decided to take a trip to see the Christmas lights at Butchart Gardens. It had snowed which made it spectacular! Butchart hired ice skaters to perform and carolers to sing. It really feels like Christmas.
