4 pounds ground lean beef
6 tbsp snipped fresh chives
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
2 tsp dried oregano
2/3 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 pound blue cheese, crumbled
1. Gently mix all ingredients except the blue cheese and shape
into
8
thick patties.
Make a pocket in the centre of each patty, fill with cheese, and
cover
the cheese with meat.
2. Broil, saute, or grill for 5 minutes on each side for rare
hamburgers.
