2. In a large bowl, blend together dry ingredients. Using a pastry blender, cut in the marg.
3. In a small bowl, beat the egg, milk, brown sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Combine two mixtures, stirring gently until the dough holds together.
4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead a few times before patting into an 8-inch circle. Place the circle on the prepared baking sheet. Use a knife to cut dough into 8 wedges (do not cut al the way through the dough).
5. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until dough is golden brown.
