Cinnamon Sour Cream Streusel Loaf

(makes 1 loaf)


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly grease and flour loaf pan.

2. Beat butter at medium speed of an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add 1 cup sugar, beating well.
Add egg, beating until blended.

3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and
ending with flour mixture.  Beat at low speed just until blended.  Stir in vanilla.

4. Combine pecans and remaining 3 ingredients.  Pour half of batter into pan and sprinkly half with mixture.
Pour remaining batter on top and then mixture.

5. Bake for 1 hour or until wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean.  Cover with foil for last 15 mins of
baking to prevent excessive browning, if necessary.
