Tropical Dump Cake

2 (20 oz) cans crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (18 oz) package of white cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, cut up
2 cups pecans, toasted
Ice cream or whipped topping if desired

Makes 8 to 10 servings.

Drain 1 can crushed pineapple, and spread all of pineapple on bottom of a lightly greased 13 X 9 inch pan.
Sprinkle cake mix over fruit. Dot evenly with butter, sprinkle with pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until golden and bubbly.  Serve with ice cream.


Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake

1 (20 oz) cans crushed pineapple, undrained
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 (18 oz) package of white cake mix
3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cups chopped pecans, toasted
Ice cream or whipped topping if desired

Spread crushed pineapple on bottom of a lightly greased 13 X9 inch pan.
Top pineapple with cherry pie filling, and sprinkle cake mix evenly over fruit.
Drizzle with melted butter, and sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Serve with ice cream.
