1 CUP SOFT BUTTER

1/2 CUP ICING SUGAR

1 TSP VANILLA

2 1/4 CUP FLOUR

1/4 TSP SALT

3/4 CUP FINELY CHOPPED NUTS

MARASCHINO CHERRIES - WELL DRAINED

ICING SUGAR TO DECORATE
Blend butter, icing sugar and vanilla. Add flour and salt and mix in pecan
or nuts. Chill dough if necessary.
Wrap a heaping tsp. of dough around a cherry. Cook at 400 F on ungreased
sheet for 10-12 min. While warm roll
in icing sugar. Can use dough to make decorated cookies.
