Coookies N Cream Shortbread

• 1 cup butter softened
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/4 tsp vanilla
• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1/8 tsp salt
• 14 chocolate sandwich cookies coarsely crumbled

Beat butter until creamy, gradually add sugar, beating well.  Stir in
vanilla.

Combine flour and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating low speed
until blended.

Stir in cookies.

Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness on lightly floured surface.  Cut with
cutters.  Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.

Bake 275 degrees for 48 minutes.  Cool 2 mins.  on baking sheets.

Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
