Cashew Brittle


1 cup cashews
1/2 cup butter or stick margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp light corn syrup

Combine everything in medium saucepan.  Bring to boil over medium heat.
Continue to boil; stirring constantly 5 to 6 minutes, or until golden
brown.
Pour quickly and spread in a 8" or 9" foil-lined and buttered pan.
Cool 15-20 minutes.  Peel off foil and break into pieces.  Mixture will
be light
in colour and frothy before done (let it get darker).
