Popcorn Footballs


1/4 cup chunky peanut butter
10 ounce bag of large marshmallows
12 ounce bag of chocolate chips
7 cups popped popcorn
black string licorice
2 tbsp soft butter
 

Warm peanut butter on low in microwave for 1 minute.
In another bowl, melt marshmallows and choc chips on low in microwave for 1 minute.
Stir marshmallow and choc chip mixture into soft peanut butter.  Pour over
popped popcorn in very large bowl and stir to coat with mixture.

Rub hands with softened butter and shape popcorn into football shapes,
8 inches long and 5 inches wide.  Keep bottom flat.  Looks like football cut in half.
Cut black string licorice and press into footballs for laces.

makes 3 footballs.
