Calzones


Dough

1. Make dough – combine yeast, water and sugar in large bowl.  Stand 5 minutes.

2. Beat in 1 ¼ cups flour, ww flour, cornmeal, oil and salt with spoon.  Knead dough for 5  minutes on floured board.  Add extra flour.

3. Place dough on greased bowl turning to grease top.  Cover and let rise in warm place 1 hour.

4. Divide up dough.  Roll into ball ¼ inch thick.

5. Fill with cooked filling.

6. Heat oven to 425 degrees.  Brush edges of dough with water.  Fold and press edges with fork.

7. Bake 15-17 minutes until browned.
